- Permeable to water –vapor out
- Water repellency develops fast after a few hours
- Excellent resistance to alkaline attacks
- No change in the materials appearance
- Easy to apply
- Small molecular size, penetrate substrate
- High resistance to aging porous agents, UV and freeze- thaw cycles
- Water penetration resistance by capillary action
Instruction for Use
Surface Preparation
- Wait at least 48 hours after rain, or if the wall has been cleaned with high pressure water, wait 3 days (in dry weather).
- Clean any dirt, oil, old paints, curing compound from the surface.
- Remove any defects and laitance from the surface and fill cracks wider than 0.3mm.
- It is recommended to treat the fresh masonry after 28 days.
Application
- Brushing, spraying or rolling.
- The water repellent must be applied until the surface is saturated.
- One coat is often enough, however, on very porous surfaces a second coat is necessary, apply the next when the substrate has absorbed the previous one and is no longer shiny, (wet-on-we- working).
- Cover the nonabsorbent surfaces and window frames before application.
Coverage
The consumption is widely varied, depending on the type of substrate and adsorption from 0.3 to 3 lit per m².
0.3 to 0.5 lm² | Concrete, masonry |
0.6 – 1.2 lm² | Brick |
0.3 – 2 lm² | Stone |
0.5 – 2 lm² | Aerated concrete |
