FARCOFIX GF1,GF2
High-Performance, 3-Part Epoxy Anchoring Grout
Product Description
FARCOFIX GF1,GF2 is a 3 component high strength, solvent free epoxy anchoring grout Which is produced in two types:
- GF1 for grouting anchors and bolts in horizontal surfaces with flowable consistency.
- GF2 for grouting anchors and bolts in vertical surfaces with thixotropic behavior. After mixing, applying and curing it gradually gains its highest mechanical strength at early ages.

Application
- Anchorage of bolts and fixings
- Permanent fixing of starter bars and fixings
- Installation of hand rails, safety fence, wall ties, railway tracks and ground anchors.
- Injection under base plates with minimum clearance
Advantages
- Exceptional bond to concrete and still surfaces
- Shrinkage-free hardening
- Rapid strength development
- Good chemical resistance
Instruction for Use
Surface Preparation
- Drill holes to proper diameter and length, Clean holes with a nylon brush.
- Blow concrete dust from hole with oil-free compressed air from back forward.
Mixing
Add component B to A and mix slowly until homogenous, and then pour PART C gradually while mixing until lump free mixture is achieved. The prepared grout has a pot life of about 30 min at 25˚c.
Placing and Finishing
- Fill holes 1/2 to 3/4 full beginning at the bottom of hole.
- Insert the anchor bolt, threaded rod or rebar to the bottom of the hole while turning clockwise.
- The bolt or fixing must be left undisturbed until the resin has set.
- GF1 has flowable consistency so can be poured easily into the holes in floors or slope sleeves.
- GF2 has thixotropic consistency and non slump properties, but in case of high temperatures use capping to avoid outflow of the grout from the sleeve prior to setting.
- The suitable ambient, mixture and component temperatures are between 18 to 28˚c, it is recommended to keep the components at the desired temperatures long enough prior to grouting.
Packaging
GF1 and GF2 are supplied as follow:
GF1: A=1 kg B=500 g C=2.1 kg
GF2: A=1 kg B=500 g C=4.2 kg
Shelf life and Storage
1 year when stored in the unopened container in a dry location.
