FARCOCRET P1

Application

• A major use for this product is in accelerated Shot- crete for mining, tunneling or rock stabilization operations where rapid set or high early strength are required for structural support.
• Shotcrete for structural tunnel repairs.
• Ground and slope stabilization.

Method of use

FARCOCRET-P1 should be blended thourouly with the dry shotcrete mix before introduction to the shotcreting equipment.

FARCOCRET-P1 can be dispensed with a powder dozer.

The accelerator only begins to work once water is added at the nozzle.

When using damp sand P1 must be added to the mixture immediately prior to discharge into the shotcrete gun.

Dosage

• FARCORET-P1 is normally dosed at a rate of 2% – 6% by mass of cementitious materials.
• Dosages will vary depending on desired acceleration, ambient conditions, cement used and W/C ratio.
• Overdosing may lead to setting before the concrete reaches the surface and increase rebound.
• The long-term strength may decrease if high dosage is used
